Job Description for Special Educator:
Special educators at Pragyancdc play a vital role in supporting children with a variety of developmental needs, including Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and learning disabilities. They work collaboratively with therapists and other professionals to create individualized education programs (IEPs) that address each child's unique strengths and challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify children's needs and develop IEPs
- Design and implement engaging and effective learning activities
- Deliver instruction in various areas, such as literacy, math, communication, social skills, and self-care
- Collaborate with parents, therapists, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each child's development
- Monitor progress and make adjustments to IEPs as needed
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
