Eligibility Criteria: 0-2 Years of Experience, special education background
Job Description:
Support the curriculum and training team in planning, organizing, designing and implementing curriculum strategies and processes for students with intellectual disabilities (in the age group of 3 to 18) of all Jai Vakeel special Schools. The associate will also support the team in capacity building of our Special Educators.
Curriculum Development:
- Assist in creating and adapting educational materials for children with Intellectual Disabilities age 3-18 years.
- Regularly update and revise curriculum content based on feedback from the
- implementation teams (Managers and Teachers) as well as through classroom observations and evolving educational needs.
- Collaborate with the internal team to design and develop comprehensive modules catering to various learning styles and abilities.
- Ensure modules address the diverse needs of children with ID
- Support the team in ensuring effective implementation of the curriculum in all JVF Schools
- Stay informed about advancements in the field of special education and intellectual disabilities
- Proactively identify areas for improvement in the existing curriculum and contribute to the improvement of our educational programs
Training Facilitation:
- Provide ongoing support to teachers, addressing questions and concerns related to curriculum delivery.
- Collaborate and assist the training team to develop and implement training modules for the overall upskilling and development of teachers at JVF
Required Experience, Skills and Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in teaching / education content creation / curriculum development.
- Strong understanding of individualized education plans and diverse learning needs.
- Good at communication and interpersonal skills; with fluency in English, Hindi and Marathi
- Strong understanding of Google Suite and other relevant tech platforms
