Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Teacher with a deep understanding of child development to take on a key role in our classrooms. In addition to leading high-quality classroom execution, this role
involves mentoring junior teaching staff, assisting in curriculum localization, and playing an active role in parent engagement and school events.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the implementation of daily and weekly lesson plans with excellence.
• Conduct advanced, age-appropriate activities focused on concept clarity and developmental growth.
• Model best practices in maintaining an engaging, safe, and organized classroom environment.
• Review and approve teaching aids and learning materials prepared by junior or assistant teachers.
Child Development & Observation
• Observe, document, and analyze children's developmental milestones.
• Support emotional regulation and positive behavior using advanced co-regulation techniques.
• Actively encourage independence and self-confidence in students.
• Strictly avoid and discourage fear-based or comparison-based discipline methods.
Mentorship & Team Collaboration
• Guide and mentor assistant teachers in classroom management and lesson execution.
• Share practical teaching strategies and classroom management techniques with the broader team.
• Participate actively in training sessions and team meetings.
Parent Engagement
• Maintain daily updates for parents where required with a high level of professionalism.
• Lead Parent-Teacher Meetings and address routine parent queries effectively.
• Support the Center Head in organizing parent orientations or community workshops.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Education/Psychology preferred)
• ECC Ed / NTT / Montessori certification preferred
• Minimum 5 years of preschool teaching experience
• Prior leadership or coordination experience preferred
• Strong communication and parent-handling skills

• Strong understanding of early childhood development (1.5-6 years).
• Clear spoken English and confident communication.
• Calm, patient, and emotionally regulated personality.
• Ability to maintain structure without being authoritarian.
