Job Summary:

Insighte, a social enterprise that works in the space of disability and inclusion, is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Psychologist to join our team. We are a neurodiversity affirmation organisation.. The candidate will work with children in a natural environment, such as schools or homes, to help them achieve academic, behavioral, and social goals. The candidate will be required to follow a child's rights-based approach and believe in neurodiversity. The successful candidate will receive training in the TEACCH approach to work with children with special needs, help children reintegrate into mainstream classrooms, bridge learning and socialization gaps, attend training, programs, and workshops, and receive supervision and training throughout the year.

Responsibilities:

1. Work with children to develop and implement learning plans and IEPs
2. Use the TEACCH approach to work with children with special needs
3. Help children reintegrate into mainstream classrooms
4. Bridge learning and socialization gaps to enable independence
5. Communicate with parents professionally and be punctual for sessions
6. Provide daily and monthly progress reports to the organization
7. Attend training, programs, and workshops
8. Receive supervision and training throughout the year
9. Follow a child's rights-based approach

Requirements:

1. Strong communication skills

4. Self-starter with a willingness to learn
5. Methodical reporting
