Job Description:

Teacher Core Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure the complete upkeep of assigned classrooms and ancillary environments as part of the daily schedule.
  2. Plan and prepare materials for activities and display boards based on current and forthcoming topics.
  3. Instruct children on the proper use and care of equipment and materials to ensure safety and prevent damage.
  4. Organize and lead activities to promote development in areas such as arts and crafts, music, storytelling, imaginative play, and foundational skills like numbers, shapes, colors, and literacy.
  5. Broaden children’s experiences through technology and science-based activities.
  6. Label students' work and maintain classroom display boards aligned with specific topics and themes.
  7. Lead staff meetings related to curriculum and special functions.
  8. Train and monitor custodial staff on classroom behaviour, hygiene, and interactions with children.
  9. Handle parent interactions, including post-shadow class takeovers, addressing first-level grievances, and conducting regular parent meetings (at least one meeting with each parent every alternate month).
  10. Provide meaningful, measurable feedback on each child’s holistic development and prepare detailed reports and portfolios for parents every term.
  11. Adhere to the school’s policies and philosophy, ensuring these principles are reflected in daily work.
  12. Oversee curriculum planning and implementation.

Working Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
