About the Role:
GEMS Education, Sharjah, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Pre-Primary Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and nurturing children in the Lower Kindergarten (LKG) and Upper Kindergarten (UKG) sections, focusing on holistic development, creativity, and foundational learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the pre-primary curriculum.
- Create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and learning.
- Design age-appropriate activities for children aged 4–5 years.
- Ensure students develop basic literacy, numeracy, motor, and social skills.
- Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning atmosphere.
- Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and the school community to support children’s overall growth.
- Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Incorporate play-based and activity-based teaching methods.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) with specialization in Early Childhood Education.
- Additional certification in Montessori Training or ECCE (Early Childhood Care and Education) is mandatory.
- Previous experience in teaching pre-primary grades (LKG/UKG) is preferred.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A nurturing and creative teaching approach with patience and empathy.
